paulkerThe mother of a Nigeria Senator, Emmanuel Paulker who was kidnapped by gunmen last week has been set free through the effort of a combined team of Armed Policemen and ex-militant leaders in Bayelsa State.
The aged mother of the Senator was dumped at a fishing camp in Azuzuama community of Southern Ijaw Local Government Councils of the State. NewsGenesis gathered that pressure from security operatives resulted into the successful release of the women. She was dumped 30 kilometres from where she was abducted.
A close family source told newsmen that the Senator told him that his mother was set free due to the intervention of the former Militant Leader and National Coordinator of the South-South Region Peace Advocacy Group, the Leadership, Peace and Cultural Development Initiative (LPCDI), General Pastor Reuben.
Thisday reports that following an intelligence report, a police Inspector said to have links with the criminals was arrested along with a suspect identified as Abass, a known Auto Mechanic along the Edepie area of the State capital.
