boko_haram_snipersThe dreaded Boko Haram fighters continued their violent campaign on Wednesday night as they stormed Garubula village in Biu local government area of Borno state, north-east Nigeria, where they gunned down the traditional body guard (Dogari) of the District Head before attacking the district head, Hakimi B. Dawn, who later died at the General Hospital in Biu.
Locals who spoke to DailyPost on phone said, the gunmen who arrived the area on motorcycle demanded to be directed to the house of the District Head.
They further narrated that after they got to the house of the District Head, they heard the first gunshot, causing heightened confusion in the area.
Narrating, they said, “when we entered the house, the Dogari was already dead while the District Head was laying in the pool of his blood with bullet wounds. “We rushed him to the hospital in Biu where he gave up.” They narrated
