President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Andrew Yakubu.
The president in a release issued on Friday by his special adviser on media and publicity, Reuben Abati, announced the changes in the petroleum sector.
The statement read that “President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the following appointments and changes in the management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC):
“Dr Joseph Thlama Dawha – Group Managing Director, NNPC;
“Mr Anthony Ugonna Muoneke – Managing Director, NPDC;
“Ms Aisha Mata Abdurrahman – Group Executive Director, Commercial and Investment, NNPC;
“Dr Attahir B. Yusuf – Group Executive Director, Business Development, NNPC.
