2014 Hajj: Jonathan names Sultan as leader of FG delegation

President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the composition and appointment of members of the Federal Government Delegation to the 2014 Hajj,
Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto was named National Amirul Hajj and leader of the Federal Government’s delegation.
The announcement was made in statement on Monday, signed by Sam Nwaobasi, special assistant (media) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
It added that “The date for the first meeting of the Federal Government’s delegation will be communicated to members of the delegation in due course”.
