INEC National Commissioner arrives state for supervision ahead of Osun 2014 Elections

National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Ambassador Ahmed Wali, yesterday arrived Osun State.

He is expected to lead supervision in the August 9 governorship election.

A press statement issued by the Chief Public Affairs Officer of the Commission in Osogbo, Mrs Adenike Tadese, said the deployment by the leadership of the Commission was to enhance transparency and fairness during the election.

The statement added that Wali was received by the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Mr. Olusegun Agbaje, and the management team.
