Arsenal agree £12m deal for Chambers, defender undergoes medical

Arsene Wenger has sealed his fourth signing of this summer transfer, after agreeing a deal worth around £12m for Southampton’s Calum Chambers.
The defender, 19, can play as a right-back, centre-back or as a midfielder and is regarded as one of the brightest young English prospects.
According to reports, Chambers has undergone a medical with the Gunners already, snubbing Liverpool’s interest for an opportunity to work with Arsene Wenger at the Emirates.
Wenger has already completed deals for Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy and David Ospina.
